Here in Australia Winter ended with August, and as September begins, so does Spring!
A lot of people around me really enjoy the beginning of Spring, and perhaps even more, they enjoy the ending of Winter. I am not like them. I really enjoy the colder temperatures of Winter, and the late sunrises. Probably the only thing I don’t mind about Spring is that it’s still a decently rainy season in Sydney, because there’s really nothing like staying home on a rainy day and curling up with some satisfying knitting.
I can’t help but be a little envious of all the knitters in the Northern Hemisphere, because knitting season is really starting to ramp up now! For Aussies though, Spring is here, and my fellow knitters and I need to take advantage of the cool weather before Spring ends and we find ourselves in the middle of Summer once more.
